SOLIATIS LAB receives the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.

SOLIATIS LAB is proud to announce it has completed with success its ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation process. This accreditation covers the organisation and the technical competencies to ensure quality, traceability and reproducibility of the test results provided by the laboratory.

Denis Manceau, Laboratory Manager at SOLIATIS LAB, said: “The preparation of this accreditation was a long term process involving the whole management and technical team. More than a demand from our customers, we internally considered this accreditation as a necessity to fulfil the level of quality required by a testing laboratory”.

Michael Leplatois, General Manager at SOLIATIS, added: “We have now the full legitimacy to provide conformity certificates to our customers. It became essential mainly for the ID market such as ICAO¹ and IAS-ECC² where the demand for conformity is growing fast.”

SOLIATIS LAB is specialized in smart object testing such as smart card, epassport, NFC device,… and this accreditation constitutes a major step for international recognition of its activity.

² IAS-ECC (Identification Authentification Signature - European Citizen Card) is the standard created by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) in June 2007 to ensure interoperability of e-Services cards throughout Europe
